Manuscripts that pass this initial screening are assigned to Associate Editors or handling editors with expertise in the manuscript's subject area.

Selection of Peer Reviewers

The handling editor identifies independent experts in the relevant field to serve as peer reviewers. These reviewers are chosen based on their subject matter expertise, impartiality, and ability to provide a thorough evaluation. Each reviewer is given detailed guidelines and evaluation criteria to assess the manuscript’s originality, significance, methodology, results, and interpretation.

Evaluation by Peer Reviewers

Peer reviewers critically assess the manuscript on its academic merit, relevance, clarity, and methodological rigor. Their evaluations include constructive feedback, identification of strengths and weaknesses, and specific recommendations for improvement.
