Author Guidelines

Manuscript Writing Guidelines
1. The article is an original scientific work of the author and has never been published or is in the process of being published in other media;
 
2. The article emphasizes the study of Islamic Education, Islamic Education Science and Islamic Religious Education in Islamic Countries in general and in Indonesia in particular by emphasizing the theories of Islamic Education, Islamic Education Science and Islamic Religious Education and their practices in the Islamic world (See Focus and Scope);
 
3. The article must follow the style and template of the local journal;
 
4. Articles submitted to Jurnal Akhlak are written in Paper B5 format (Width: 18, Height: 25), Margin (Top: 2.5 cm, Left: 2.5 cm, Bottom: 2 cm, Right: 2 cm), Book Antiqua 11 pt, 1 space and the length of the article is around 4000-6000 words, equipped with: a maximum title of 20 words (English), an abstract of 150-250 words (Indonesian and/or English), and keywords in Indonesian of three to five words.
 
5. Articles submitted via online submission must contain article files and academic biodata such as affiliation, telephone number, and email;
 
6. The systematics of the article are:
• Background: Summarize the social values ​​(importance, relevance) and scientific values ​​(knowledge gaps) discussed in your study (optional).
• Objectives: State the overall objectives of the research.
• Methods: Clearly state the basic design of the study, and mention or briefly describe the methods used without over-explaining.
• Results: State the main findings.
• Conclusions: State your conclusions and any major implications or recommendations.
• Contributions: What key insights are revealed regarding the results of the study and its future function? How do these insights relate to the focus and scope of the journal? It should be a concise statement of the main contributions of the manuscript; and how these contributions fit with the scope of the journal.
 
7. Articles submitted to the Court are written using the Mendeley reference manager application with the Chicago Manual of Style Format, 17th edition (full notes);
 
8. Articles are submitted using Arabic-Indonesian transliteration in accordance with SKB 3 Ministers;
 
9. Most of the references are sourced from primary data sourced from studies, research results, and research published in scientific journals in the last 10 years, except for the classic (old) bibliography used as historical study material;
10. Manuscripts are typed based on the rules of punctuation and spelling contained in the General Guidelines for Improved Indonesian Spelling;
 
11. The editor does not return unpublished manuscripts. Unpublished manuscripts will not be returned, unless requested by the author.
 
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check their submissions for compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors who do not comply with these guidelines.
 
1. The manuscript has not been previously published, and has not been submitted to another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
 
2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
 
3. Where available, URLs for references have been provided.
 
4. The text is single-spaced; uses 12-point font; uses italics, not underlining (except in URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate point, not at the end.
 
5. The text adheres to the style and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, found in About the Journal.
 
6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring Blind Review have been followed.
