The following is a manuscript writing template submitted to the Al-Ma'arif Way Kanan Institute Journal. Making templates aims to make things easier for writers and to create a uniform perception of the writing format used. Text can be copied and pasted into this template so that writers no longer have difficulty adapting to the intended writing format.

WRITING GUIDE

The manuscript sent is in the form of research on the results of Community Service. The manuscript is typed in MS Word format on A4 paper, page numbers 9-16 along with tables and figures, neatly typed in Calibri 11, typed 1.5 spaces with a top margin of 3 cm, bottom margin of 2.5 cm, right margin of 2, 5 cm. 2.5 cm and left margin 3.5 cm. TITLE

Manuscript (presented briefly and written in Indonesian and English). Article titles in Indonesian have a maximum of 14 words, while titles in English have a maximum of 12 words. The title is printed in capital letters in the middle with a font size of 14 points.

AUTHOR'S NAME (Written in full without title)

If there is more than one author, then the first name of the second and subsequent authors is abbreviated and the full last name is written. Under the author's name, write the name of the institution and the address of the institution. In the case of a manuscript written by a team, the editor only communicates with the main author or the author whose name is listed first. The primary author must include a correspondence address or email address.

ABSTRACT

Abstracts are written in English with a maximum of 300 words using Calibri-10. The abstract contains the objectives, methods and research results written in 1 paragraph. Keywords consist of 3-5 keywords (separated by semicolons; tap 1 time, 1 space 6 pt before after).

INTRODUCTION

Contains background, problem formulation and research objectives.

RESEARCH METHODS

Contains paragraphs about research design, data sources, data collection techniques, and data analysis that the researcher actually carried out, with a length of 10-15% of the total length of the article.

Time new Roman writing format, 11pt, left and right, 1 space, 6 pt spacing, first line 0.5 cm and in one column.

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

Contains a presentation of research results accompanied by discussion, which can be made in the same section or separately. If there are new discoveries, they should be stated explicitly in the discussion. Table names, table contents, images and descriptions are written in Indonesian. The units of measurement must follow the applicable international system. The exposure length of this section is 40-60% of the length of the article.

CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS (Suggestions may not be available)

Contains a conclusion formed in one paragraph. Conclusions should be answers to research questions, and not expressed in statistical sentences. Conclusions are written in full paragraphs, not point by point. Time new Roman writing format, 11pt, left and right, 1 space, 6 pt spacing, first line 0.5 cm and in one column.

 

REFERENCE

The cited library sources, whether in the form of scientific journals, theses, dissertations or other library sources, must be included in the bibliography. The bibliography must contain reference literature originating from primary sources (scientific journals and amounting to at least 80% of the entire bibliography) published in the last 10 (ten) years. Each manuscript contains at least 10 (ten) references and the writing is arranged alphabetically.

 

References from Books

The year of publication is written after the author's name, ending with a period. Book titles are written in italics, with a capital letter at the beginning of each word, except connecting words. Place of publication and name of publisher are separated by a colon (:).

References from Articles in Journals

The author's name is written first followed by the year, and the article title is written in regular block letters, and begins with a capital letter.
